Meet Our Coaches

Coach Damian Cotto

Damian graduated from Hofstra Law School and has been practicing Law for 25 years. In January 2004 he founded Athletes In Training, a health and fitness company, in search of educating people of all ages on how to address their health and fitness needs.  He is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and actively attends many seminars in search of the latest most effective methods in the health and fitness industry.  Damian also conducts his own seminars in hopes of sharing information with the community on various topics facing the health and fitness industry.  In addition to his many duties at Athletes In Training, for five years Damian served as a strength and conditioning coach for the New York Junior Bobcats, a member of the Atlantic Junior Hockey League.  Damian also serves as a consultant to local Baseball and Softball travel teams.  Damian’ still enjoys training very hard which helps him prepare for playing softball with his Athletes In Training Softball Club, as well as competing all over the country on the Senior Softball circuit.   But his biggest accomplishment is helping  develop his favorite athlete, his 16 year-old daughter Isabella.

Coach Jim Kelleher

Coach Jim Kelleher is a former defensive lineman for first, Nassau Community College followed by Hofstra University.  Coach Jim continued his football prowess as a member of the NYPD Football team.  After retiring from the NYPD, Coach Jim served as a strength and conditioning coach for Maritime College and was an assistant coach at Holy Cross High School.  Coach Jimmy who grew up in Levittown is married to his lovely wife Mary Anne and has three tremendous athletes of his own, Thomas, Jimmy and Hughie.  Coach Jim is currently living in Wantagh, NY.

 Coach Jackie Mancini

Coach Jackie Mancini is a former goalkeeper for the Mount Saint Mary Women’s Soccer Team.  Coach Jackie graduated from MSMC with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  One of the highlights from her collegiate academic career was completing an internship in Sports Psychology at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.  Coach Jackie has received a Masters degree in Sports Science from Hofstra University.  She has vast experience coaching Soccer at youth, high school and collegiate levels.  Coach Jackie, who grew up and still lives in Valley Stream continues to enjoy competing at soccer.

Coach Aiden Graham

Coach Aiden Graham is a former collegiate rugby player for The College at Brockport.  He graduated from SUNY Brockport with a B.S. in Exercise Science as well as a B.S. in Kinesiology.  While he was at Brockport he was an intern as a strength and conditioning coach for all of the college’s varsity athletes.  Aiden plans to attend Physical Therapy School in the near future.  Coach Aiden, who grew up in Franklin Square, continues to enjoy and compete in the sport of Powerlifting.
